After reviewing literally hundreds of UX/UI portfolios I started to notice some patterns. There are five distinct UI levels, or skill levels and only being above 4 will result in getting a UI design job. Watch the video to find out which skill level are you and what to focus on to progress to the next level faster. Of course it's all in the details! Become a great UX/UI designer, whether you use Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or any other tool, it's not just the tutorials, but rather the right approach - focusing on the right things and the right learning sources. 🚨 This is based on my own experiences with over a 1000 junior designers and their portfolios, tracking which ones later got an industry job and which ones didn't. ☝️ IMPORTANT: The screens shown as these examples are only focusing on LOOKS, not the UX because the product doesn't exist. If someone tells you recruiters will analyse the UX and how it makes sense of a fake, made-up product in a junior portfolio then sorry - 90% of the time ONLY UI matters. When you get your first job you'll get wireframes and instructions to deliver the proper structure. This is just to show UI-skill differences. So... Yes, I believe you can be a level five designer. Are you following these tips? ✅ Avoid using pure black or pure white - This color combo can cause the user’s eyes to work harder to adapt to the brightness. ✅ Avoid visual vibration - Use less saturated colors, since saturated colors can impact the legibility of your design. ✅ Use the right contrast validation. - Text with low contrast can be almost invisible and can ruin usability. ✅ Allow the user to switch themes - Some users still prefer to have light mode on their devices. 💎 For more #webdesign & #development resources: ➢ Visit Creative Tim Courses: 🤍 ➢ Visit our website: 🤍 ➢ Visit our blog: 🤍 ➢ Subscribe to our channel: 🤍youtube.com/channel/UCVyTG4sCw-rOvB9oHkzZD1w ➢ 𝗡𝗘𝗪 | The Ultimate UI/UX Design Course - 🤍 #darkmode #shorts

Creating UI designs that look clean is easier than you think! Here are some tips for you: 1. Use fewer colors - Colors draw the user’s attention. When you use too many of them, they become distracting. That’s why monochromatic color palettes are recommended. 2. Lower font weights - Using very bold font weights makes the UI feel cluttered. Remember not to go below “Light” weight, especially for the smaller text, but also avoid weights like “ExtraBold” or “Black”. 3. Unbox images - Unboxing images can make your design look cleaner. 4. Avoid margins - All elements should have a proper distance between each other and the screen edges. 5. Use fewer borders - Instead of using borders, just use a soft drop shadow. #shorts #ui #tips 💎 For more #webdesign & #development resources: ➢ Visit Creative Tim Courses: 🤍 ➢ Visit our website: 🤍 ➢ Visit our blog: 🤍 ➢ 𝗡𝗘𝗪 | The Ultimate UI/UX Design Course - 🤍 ➢ Subscribe to our channel: 🤍youtube.com/channel/UCVyTG4sCw-rOvB9oHkzZD1w

Main focus: The main focus of UI designers is to deal with the quality and visuals of the end product. UX designers focus more on the purpose and functionality of the end product. Use of color: UI designers design prototypes in full color while UX designers do so in black, white, or grey. Tools: UI designers use tools like Sketch, Flinto, Principle, and InVision for collaborative image designing. UX designers use wireframe-based prototyping tools like Mockplus. 💎 For more #webdesign & #development resources: ➢ Visit Creative Tim Courses: 🤍 ➢ Visit our website: 🤍 ➢ Visit our blog: 🤍 ➢ 𝗡𝗘𝗪 | The Ultimate UI/UX Design Course - 🤍 ➢ Subscribe to our channel: 🤍youtube.com/channel/UCVyTG4sCw-rOvB9oHkzZD1w #shorts #uiux #tutorial
